Civil War Declared in Syria, Globalist’s Formula for WW III Begins

The Syrian opposition is doing a fine job asdirected by the CIA . The connection between these “rebels” and the US government is uncanny. Mainstream media has downplayed the Western intervention into the Syrian conflict, referring to them as “pro-democracy campaigners” without admitting their political agendas or ties.

The same champions of former President G.W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq are cheering on the sidelines, waiting for Obama’s unconstitutional declaration of war in Syria.

Speaking for the Syrian National Council (SNC) is Bassma Kodmani, who was an attendee at the Bilderberg Meeting this year in Chantilly, Virginia. The SNC have had the closest contact to Obama’s administration and called specifically for US forces to militarily strike Syria early on in the conflict.

Kodmani has declared : “No dialogue with the ruling regime is possible. We can only discuss how to move on to a different political system.” She also has stated : “The next step needs to be a resolution under Chapter VII, which allows for the use of all legitimate means, coercive means, embargo on arms, as well as the use of force to oblige the regime to comply.”

The NATO forces or “armed peacekeepers” have been waiting in the wings for their direction to attack.

Over 10,000 men armed with “highly-sophisticated weapons, including anti-tank missiles” entered into Syria to assist in the conflict and bloodshed. These trained terrorists took up positions in the suburban areas while other armed groups attacked Assad’s military.

In Turkey, while the CIA trains oppositional forces against Assad, there has developed an element of instability within the Kurds against Erdogan, who supports the CIA operatives.

Through Palestinian Intelligence sources, Turkey provided evidencethat Erdogan had direct involvement in the Gaza Flotilla killings. These murders aided the Turkish Muslim Brotherhood who was opposed to military action against Syria.

Could the same forces who have orchestrated uprisings in the Middle East as so-called “Arab Springs” be planning another in Turkey?

The Council on Foreign Relations(CFR) has admitted involvement with the “ Arab Reform Initiative ” (ARI) and the US/Middle East Project that is a consortium of senior diplomats, intelligence officers and financiers that are directed to control regional “policy analysis” to ensure conflict while purporting stability.

To finance the forced regime change in Syria, the CFR have employed the Centre for European Reform (CER), while using advise from Peter Sutherland from Goldman Sachs.

Advisers to the project include:

• Brent Scowcroft, former US National Security adviser
• Zbigniew Brzezinski, influential to Obama’s rise to presidency
• George Soros, providing monies from his Open Society Foundation
• Charles Grant, former defense editor of the Economist

Now the Red Cross has declared that civil war is officially sited as Homs and Hama are noted as war zones. This means that combatants are subject to the Geneva Conventions and possibly be tried as war criminals in international court.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is beginning talks with Russia and China in an attempt to coerce them into supporting the pending military strike against Syria. The US, the UN and Israel are gathering up forces and making ready for the war they have been planning on for quite some time.

The UN has been frustrated with Russia’s continued blockade of resolutions with the ultimate intervention of UN NATO forces against Assad. An anonymous diplomat admits: “the problem here is Russia.”

By declaring civil war in Syria, Assad could, and most likely will, be charged and tried for war crimes. Mohamad Bazzi, adjunct for the CFR, remarked: “Most of the scenarios are really frightening and just lead to more brutality by the regime and more of a counterattack by the opposition. The regime still hasn’t been weakened to the degree where they can be overrun.”

Bazzi claims the declaration of civil war will do little to change the situation. “The regime already opened themselves up to that months ago, and they’ve been rather disdainful of any kind of international accountability for what they’ve done. On the whole, the observer mission has not been particularly successful. It’s something for the UN to focus on but it’s sort of a sideshow.”

As the UN Security Council voices concerns that Russia will come to Assad’s defense if and when military strike occurs, the UN has stated that “we really need to decide if we are prepared to take action . . . We should be supporting the opposition, with weapons, ammunition, training and intelligence – now.”

As Syrian crisis deepens, Obama cites ‘Captive Nations’ week

As critics accuse President Obama of a weak response to the political and humanitarian crisis in Syria, the president quietly signed an order Monday proclaiming “Captive Nations Week.”

“As individuals rise to demand their universal rights, the United States stands with them in pursuit of equality, justice, and freedom,” the president declared in the order. “And as long as there are people who live in the darkness of oppression, America will remain their steadfast friend, linked by a common dream and our common ideals.”

The proclamation, which presidents have signed routinely since Dwight Eisenhower began the practice during the Cold War in 1959, makes no mention of Syria, where forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad have killed nearly 15,000 civilians in 16 months of open revolt against the regime.

Douglas Feith, a former undersecretary of defense in the administration of President George W. Bush, said Mr. Obama is behaving too timidly in the Syrian crisis.

“The Obama administration has neither promoted humanitarian ‘safe zones’ on Syria’s Turkish border, nor provided arms to the rebels,” Mr. Feith wrote Monday in the Wall Street Journal. “It has not helped establish a no-fly zone, nor has it supported NATO military strikes against Assad’s forces.”

Russia on Monday accused the West of essentially trying to use blackmail to secure a new U.N. Security Council resolution that could allow the use of force in Syria. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrovtold reporters that the Kremlin has no intention of supporting the British proposal to enact U.N. sanctions to resolve the crisis.

The U.S. has consistently supported sanctions, which the Obama administration has stepped up as the crisis has deepened. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also worked with the U.N. Security Council and U.N.envoy Kofi Annan on a June 30 accord calling on Syrians to come up with a political transition.

A mandate for a U.N. observer force expires on July 20, and Mr. Lavrovaccused the West of using the deadline as a bargaining chip.

“To our great regret, there are elements of blackmail,” Mr. Lavrov said. “We are being told that if you do not agree to passing the resolution under Chapter 7 of the U.N. Charter, then we shall refuse to extend the mandate of the monitoring mission.”

Mr. Feith said the president is ceding U.S. sovereignty to the United Nations in the debate.

“By refusing to act on Syria, the president is missing an opportunity to advance U.S. security interests in the Middle East, while benefiting Iran, the principal sponsor of the Assad regime,” Mr. Feith said. “And by suggesting that America lacks international legal authority to act, he is undermining U.S. sovereignty.”

In “Captive Nations” proclamation, Mr. Obama said America “renews our abiding ties to all peoples who struggle to claim their inalienable rights.”

“As strongly as my administration condemns tyranny, we embrace emerging democracies and welcome the chance to work with those who seek to restore their people’s liberty,” the president said. “With our partners in the international community, we will continue striving to advance human rights, grow prosperity, and meet mutual challenges with global solutions.”

Prelude to the Destruction of Syria: Another Fake Massacre

The “massacre” of Tremseh, Syria, reported with standard sensationalistic fanfare over the weekend by the establishment media is another war propaganda fabrication.

Billed as “Syria’s Bloodiest Massacre” by Newsweek and Bloomberg, the event supposedly occurred on July 12 in the Sunni Muslim village of Tremseh in Hama province. The Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP) – an Israel-centric neocon operation that specializes in hysterical anti-Muslim, pro-war propaganda – mentioned the “massacre” in the same breath as the suspected movement of chemical weapons by the al-Assad regime.

“We have two significant developments and we cannot even get this passed?” Andrew Tabler, a fellow at WINEP, complained about the lack of action against Syria at the United Nations.

On Saturday, however, the New York Times reported that the alleged massacre at Tremseh was basically a scam perpetuated by the Syrian National Council, the CIA spawned terrorist council run by the Western intelligence asset the Muslim Brotherhood.

The number of casualties is now disputed – the establishment media initially claimed over 300 – and it turns out those who were killed were young men of fighting age, in other words they were “rebels” organized by the CIA and NATO to overthrow the al-Assad regime and were killed by the Syrian Army. There were no women’s names on the list of 103 “victims” obtained from activists in Homs, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, described by the media as an opposition group based in Britain that has a network of contacts in Syria. (The man behind the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdelrahman, is well received by the British establishment, including Foreign Secretary William Hague, and refuses to report on the death of “government loyalists,” that is to say Syrians killed by the CIA and U.S. and British special forces trained assassins.)

The sensationalized story exploited by WINEP neocons and the establishment media follows a now routine and dependable pattern of facile disinformation and propaganda. “After the high toll was announced from Tremseh, as was the case with Houla and other similar episodes, Western leaders lined up to condemn the mass killings of civilians,” the New York Timesreports. “Col. Riad al-Assad, based in Turkey as the ostensible leader of the loose coalition of fighters called the Free Syrian Army, told the Arabic television network Al Jazeera on Thursday that there had been no opposition fighters in the town.”

As usual, the corporate media did not question or attempt to verify the claim that the Free Syrian Army was not involved. The FSA is, after all, a CIA and NATO spawned contrivance infested with Libyan members of al-Qaeda.

In May, Infowars.com reported on evidence revealing that the al-Houla massacre was also something other than reported by the establishment media and was designed to gain sympathy for a manufactured opposition and push for military intervention by NATO and the United Nations. The massacre was cynically exploited to call for a new round of sanctions against al-Assad in an effort to force his compliance with an international peace plan that wasrejected by the FSA, we reported.

The fact we have exposed the lies and exaggerations of the global elite – from Iraq’s illusionary weapons of mass destruction to hysterical warnings of Syria’s chemical weapons – does not count for much. The Obama administration — now an imperial presidency in serious violation of the Constitution and the will of the American people — and its partners continue to push for all-out war despite the transparent qaulity and facile nature of disinformation put out every few days.

“Expect the Syrian civil war to escalate to the point where either the UN or Israel intervenes — in which case the prospects for war with Iran by election day, November 2012, are a good bet,” writes Justin Raimondo.

“The Syrian ‘crisis’ — one brought on by the Western powers and their sock-puppets in Qatar and Saudi Arabia — is but a prelude to the main event: the strangulation of Iran, via economic blockade, and eventual all-out war. What is happening in Syria today reflects, in miniature, the regime-change crowd’s plan for the entire region: unleashing Sunni fanatics in a religious war against all other sects, one that will liquidate the Christian and other minority communities. The ultimate target of this Sunni onslaught: the Shi’ites of Iran.”

The Massacre Industry Strikes Again In Syria

 When you’re on the same side as these guys you’re not supporting freedom and democracy.

The NATO/GCC-funded Jihadist terrorists and mercenaries in Syria and their Bilderberg-owned political representatives in the West are accusing the Syrian government of committing another massacre. Their latest false accusation is perfectly timed with a new round of UN talks. 

The writer “b” of MoA says: “Before any big UN event on Syria the opposition sets out to blame the government of committing a “massacre,” adding:

“The Syrian government certainly has no advantage by committing any mass atrocity before important UN meetings while the insurgency and its western sponsors are clearly using them for their propaganda purpose.

But this UN meeting “massacre” scheme is getting stall as even some journalists finally recognize this scam for what it is.”

The falsely labeled and NATO-controlled “Syrian opposition” is using deception, trickery, and terrorism even more than Mossad. It is a massacre industry, producing fictional atrocity stories to make Assad look bad and unresponsive to the will of the Syrian people.

Washington has come up with lie after lie to paint the rebels as poor innocent victims and government forces as barbarians on the march. But Washington’s inventiveness and cleverness cannot hide the reality of the situation from the Syrian people and the people of the world.

II. An Alliance Made In Hell: Jihadist Terrorists, NATO, Saudi Arabia, And Israel

The Jihadist terrorists in Syria slaughter women and children in their homes and cry to the world press about how they’re being victimized and massacred by the Syrian government. On one hand they claim to represent Islam, on the other hand they pretend to stand as the vanguard of an American-style Jeffersonian revolution against a tyrant.

The NATO-armed members of the “Syrian opposition” are dishonestly using the discourse of Islam and democracy in order to cover up their war crimes and deep connections to Western intelligence agencies. They have no honour and no sense of justice. Any group that wants power this much doesn’t deserve it.

In the face of these facts, some questions need to be asked. Why are the Muslim Brotherhood, Salafist apes, and other Western-backed Islamist Trojan Horses that have infiltrated Middle Eastern societies seeking to destroy the modern, secular, and anti-imperialist government of Syria?

Is it to carry out the evil will of their masters in Washington, London, and Tel Aviv who are after world domination? Is it to form an Islamic Caliphate throughout the region and create the conditions for a clash of civilizations? Is it to de-link Iran from Hezbollah and thereby allow Israel to run roughshod over the Palestinian people and Lebanon? Is it to carve up Syria into little pieces and smash its national identity? Is it to make Israel the undisputed ruler of the region?

There are many plots and conspiracies. But it isn’t too difficult to weave through the jungle of lies and come up with satisfactory answers. One truth is clear – the Syrian people do not want a violent revolution, or a UN intervention. Chaos has been created from outside their country by NATO, GCC, Israel, and Turkey, and it is these same guilty parties that are demanding with a straight face that they must go into Syria to diffuse the situation and remove Assad from power.

It would be ironic if the Jihadists and Muslim Brothers who have come to power in Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, and Syria as a result of the CIA-engineered Arab Spring turned against the CIA, MI6, and Mossad once in power and fight a “Holy War” against Israel and America. Is that the secret plan? It appears so. The governments America and Israel want to create new enemies, and start a clash of civilizations.

If Israel is really afraid of the Sunni Islamists in Syria then you would think it would be in favor of protecting and helping the anti-Islamist Syrian government during this foreign imposed crisis, right? Wrong. Israel wants Assad to fall and Syria to crumble so it can pick up the pieces along with Washington and London.

Richard Silverstein says that the IDF is threatening to invade Syria on the false premise that it has weapons of mass destruction. Israel is planning to commit new war crimes. It apparently didn’t learn its lesson from its defeat in its 2006 war against Lebanon, which itinitiated with an act of deception.

III. The Rise of USrael-Backed Jihadist Terrorists

It is obvious who will take control of the central Syrian state if Assad is defeated: the Jihadist terrorists who use terror and deception to seize power. These bloodthirsty and sectarian Islamists are conductingheinous acts of terrorism and covert propaganda operations, which are being facilitated by their masters in the CIA-MI6-Mossad Brotherhood.

Israel and America aren’t worried that Jihadist terrorists are going to replace Assad. Why would they be afraid of men they own? They don’t own Assad, but they own the Muslim Brotherhood and the Jihadist commanders who are advancing NATO’s interests from Libya to Syria to Afghanistan.

NATO-backed Jihadist commanders have committed multiple massacres in Syria and Libya against Christians and other minorities. By comparison, Assad has committed zero massacres.

Nato prepared to hunt Taliban fighters who executed woman for adultery

The incident in the Shinwari area of Parwan province recalled similar public executions which were commonplace during the Taliban’s government of the 1990s.

US "Proxy Democracy": The Libyan Election Farce

All candidates are neo-imperial candidates – Wall Street proxy Jibril of “National Forces Alliance” presumed winner.

Ideally the West would like to install “liberal” pro-globalist candidates into power in each of the nations it has destabilized and destroyed during its premeditated, engineered “Arab Spring.” In the case of Egypt where Mohammed ElBaradei was sufficiently exposed and his presidential aspirations effectively derailed, the West’s Muslim Brotherhood proxies made for a viable second option.

In Libya, a similar scenario has unfolded with two tiers of Western proxies poised to take power – pro-globalist technocrats like US-educated Mahmoud Jibril (Gibrill) Elwarfally’s National Forces Alliance, and of course NATO’s terrorist proxies within the Muslim Brotherhood along with Al Qaeda-linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG)warlords like Abdul Hakim Belhaj.

In Egypt where relative economic and social stability returned after the brief chaos and violence of the early 2011 protests, the alternative media was able to sufficiently expose and disrupt “liberal” candidate ElBaradei. In Libya, the nation has been plunged into nationwide lawlessness, violence, and sweeping genocide by sectarian extremists, tribal confrontations, and militant opportunists. The people of Libya have been too busy defending themselves and desperately fighting for their own immediate survival to function as a nation-state, let alone scrutinize candidates politically before the farcical Western-hyped elections.

In other words, no matter who wins the so-called elections in war-torn Libya, the West has ensured all the candidates are loyal proxies, and will most assuredly have one of these proxies in place to guide Libya according to its own agenda rather than that of the Libyan people.

The New York Times has already proclaimed in its article, “Party Led by Pro-Western Official Claims Lead in Libya,”that Jibril’s party is the likely winner. Readers might recall that in May of 2011, Jibril had made a pilgrimage back to the United States where he received his higher education and spent years teaching in Pittsburgh, to speak before the corporate-financier funded Brookings Institution (Brookings page here) about turning Libya into a “lake” to develop the skills of Africans to serve the needs of markets in the European Union.

Jibril will serve not as an “elected representative” of the Libyan people, but as a technocratic proxy implementing not only the West’s designs for Libya, but carrying out its role in recolonizing and exploiting both the vast populations and resources of the entire African continent. Jibril, or whoever the West finally installs into power will not only carry out this agenda, they will do so under the guise of a “democratic mandate.” While impressionable and/or duplicitous people the world over applaud Libya’s elections, they are but the most superficial attempt to spin NATO’s genocidal destruction of one of the most developed nations in Africa.

And despite these elections, Libya will remain largely lawless and a terrorist safe-haven by design so that it may continue serving its purpose as a weapons, fighter, and cash hub for NATO militant proxies throughout the region, particularly verses Syria.

Libya’s “transitional government” led by Western big oil representative Abdurrahim el-Keib had already played a significant role in carrying out Western designs against other geopolitical targets throughout North Africa and the Middle East, including Mali and Syria where Libya has shipped both weapons and fighters to augment NATO-backed terrorists seeking to overthrow these targeted governments. Libya under el-Keib has also lent significant political support to the West’s Arab World agenda. Along with the government of Tunisia – led at the time by US funded “activist” Moncef Marzouki, Libya had withdrawn recognition of Syria’s government.

What the uninformed public believes it is seeing is a transition to “democracy” across the Arab World and each of these nations joining together to ensure such a transition in remaining “dictatorships.” It might be mistakenly believed then that the United States is merely “reacting” to this unfolding paradigm.

What has happened in reality is that the so-called “Arab Spring” was planned as early as 2008 with activists literally flown to the United States to receive training, funding, and equipment with which to return to their home countries and begin a campaign of coordinated destabilization. It was under this cover of seemingly legitimate peaceful protesting that more violent elements, organized as early as 2007 or even earlier (as was the case in Libya), began violently overthrowing regimes targeted, according to US Army General Wesley Clark, as early as 1991, with a complete list documented as early as 2001. This list, provided during General Clark’s talk at the Commonwealth Club of California, October 3, 2007, included seven nations slated by the Pentagon for destabilization and destruction: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya Somalia, Sudan, and Iran.

Libya’s elections are therefore an absolute farce in the wake of a premeditated Western military campaign aimed at the entire Arab World – the elections a motion gone through to couch the creation of a Western client regime within the perceived legitimacy elections may grant it in the minds of both Libyans and global public opinion.

17 Afghan Civilians Killed in Airstrike Against Taliban

PUL-E-ALAM, Afghanistan — Local officials reported that the NATO airstrike targeting Taliban hideouts left 17 civilians dead in Logar province on Tuesday night. According to district governor Sayed Wakil Agha, the air raid conducted by NATO-led troops in Sajawand village of Baraki Barak district killed 17 non-combatants, including women and children. He added that the warplanes targeted the house of a tribal elder identified as Sayed Bashir Akhundzada. The incident and the number of fatalities was also confirmed by Abdul Wali Wakil, the chief of Logar provincial council. According to Logar police chief Raes Khan Sadiq, the airstrike took place while Taliban commander Qari Sardar and his men were inside the residence of tribal elder Akhundzada. The air raid killed Qari Sardar and six of his men. Meanwhile, NATO issued a statement confirming the offensive in Logar province but dismissed claims that civilians were killed. The statement said Afghan and NATO troops carried out an operation to arrest a Taliban leader in Baraki Barak district and during the operation, militants attacked with small-arms fire and a grenade. Afghan and coalition forces returned fire and requested for an airstrike. Subsequently, several militants were killed and a number of weapons and explosives were seized. In the statement, NATO confirmed that two women were injured, though their injuries are not life-threatening. The coalition troops even provided emergency medical treatment and took both women to an ISAF medical facility.

Helicopter Crash Kills 2 NATO Soldiers in Afghanistan

NATO officials said two coalition members were killed in a helicopter crash in eastern Afghanistan Monday.

The coalition said it is investigating the cause of the crash.  Initial reports said there was no enemy activity in the area.

Earlier, another coalition aircraft also crashed in eastern Afghanistan. There were no fatalities in that crash.

Also Monday, an insurgent attack in southern Afghanistan killed a NATO service member.

NATO did not release the names or nationalities of the victims.

More than 170 NATO troops have been killed in Afghanistan this year.

In Kabul, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, General John Allen, led a Memorial Day ceremony for members of the NATO coalition who have died in the war.

“While our brothers and sisters fell in a place far from home, far from their families, the values for which they stood and for which they lived and for which they died occupy an enduring place in our hearts.”

On Sunday, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta defended plans to gradually wind down military operations in Afghanistan by the end of 2014.

Speaking on ABC’s This Week program, the Pentagon chief said NATO forces still have a fight on their hands, but that “it is on the right track.”

Critics of a withdrawal timeline say Afghan militants will bide their time until international troops are gone.

Also Sunday, Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned a coalition airstrike that officials say killed a family of eight in eastern Paktia province, where Afghan and international troops are trying to quell the Taliban insurgency.

A provincial government spokesman Rohullah Samoon told VOA Sunday the overnight airstrike killed a man, his wife and six children in the Gerda Serai district.  He said that according to his information, the man was not linked to any insurgent group or any anti-government activities.

Anarchist Group Allied to CIA’s Red Brigades Plan London Olympics Terror

An anarchist group is threatening to disrupt the London Olympics with terrorist attacks. The Informal Anarchist Federation (or FAI, Federazione Anarchica Informale) warns it will engaged in “guerrilla activity to hurt the national image and paralyze the economy however we can,” according to a post on the anarchist website 325.nostate.

The group claims it will target the Ministry of Defense, defense firms, and banks in Britain. “Finance, judicial, communications, military and transport infrastructure will continue to be targets of the new generation of urban low-intensity warfare.”

As we have reported numerous times, so-called anarchist groups are the preferred tool of the state when it plans to launch false flag attacks or unleash agents provocateurs to discredit demonstrations against the globalists and their “free trade” organizations.

The Informal Anarchist Federation is a classic Gladio cut-out organization. It was established in Italy and is allied with the New Red Brigades and the Communist Combatant Party. The original Red Brigades was a terrorist organization founded by Italian intelligence and the CIA. It was closely associated with the Hyperion Language School in Paris, a CIA outfit. SeeAndrew Gavin Marshall, Operation Gladio: CIA Network of “Stay Behind” Secret Armies.

Since 2003, the Gladio FAI has targeted European Union institutions. It has mailed threatening letters to politicians, including Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, and parcel bombs that exploded at the Swiss and Chilean embassies in Rome.

In 2011, the FAI claimed responsibility for a bomb that exploded at a Swiss nuclear industry association, injuring two people. In December of that year, a mail bomb was sent to the CEO of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt.

Earlier this year, the FAI claimed responsibility for the shooting of an Italian executive at a nuclear company. In May, an FAI “affinity group” in Britain sabotaged railway signaling equipment, an incident that may be viewed as a precursor to violence planned for the Olympics.

The primary objective of Operation Gladio was to create a “strategy of tension” in Europe through terrorist bombings and assassinations which were then blamed on the so-called left. Gladio was run by the CIA’s P-2 lodge (short for Propaganda Due, a Masonic lodge). CIA director Allen Dulles was key in instituting Operation Gladio, and most of Gladio’s operations were financed by the CIA.

In Gladio, NATO’s Dagger at the Heart of Europe: The Pentagon-Nazi-Mafia Terror Axis, author Richard Cottrell documents how Gladio incorporated Nazis, fascists (including fascist elements of Italian intelligence), the Mob, and the military-industrial complex in its concerted effort to overthrow governments and sabotage political organizations in Europe.

Former Italian prime minister Giulio Andreotti insists Gladio was discontinued after the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Eastern Bloc, but as any astute student of intelligence understands, covert operations that successfully neutralize enemies of the global elite are never retired.

Unleashing “anarchist” terrorists during the Olympics in London this summer will provide a sensationalistic pretext to further militarize police, put soldiers on the street, roll out a high-tech surveillance apparatus and promote and domesticate a war on terror that is designed to last indefinitely, or at least until the global elite have put the finishing touches on their police state and control grid.

Phony ‘Houla Massacre’: How Media Manipulates Public Opinion on Syria

If you are still needing an academic tutorial on exactly how the mainstream media is able to generate a completely phony public consensus to support foreign intervention projects, you need look no further than the dangerous, fictional narrative currently being rolled out regarding Syria.

This past Saturday and Sunday morning, almost every major corporate mainstream newspaper and TV network in North America and in Europe ran with the average headline,“Massacre of the children as Syrian forces hit rebels”, giving hundreds of millions of readers and viewers to artificial impression that it was Syrian government forces – and not western-backed terrorist groups, who carried out a massacre on children and others days ago – even though, the true culprit of these attacks has not yet been determined – a fact which was only briefly mentioned later on in these very same media reports.

It shouldn’t take a genius to see through this relentless western effort to takeover Syria, but not having learned their lesson from Libya, so many hard working and well educated westerners are bound to fall for it all over again.

Cui bono? Who benefits… from another civilian massacre? Clearly not the Syrian government. But western-backed terrorist groups who have been working to destablize the country for over one year now, do clearly benefit.

Do not underestimate for one second just how pivotal the western corporate media is in advancing an agenda of global destabilization:

One of the UK best-selling weekend papers and most widely read online journals, Guardian media group’s The Observer, ran such a headline which implied that the Syrian government carried out a massacre in Houla, and as we have seen used before in Syria and Libya, the alleged massacre in question is based soley on unsubstantiated evidence, in this case its more uploaded ‘Youtube’ footage:

“Videos uploaded to the internet and purporting to be from Houla show many dead and badly mutilated infants. Residents say some victims were killed with knives, while many more died from 18 hours of relentless shelling that left buildings wrecked and homes destroyed in a large residential area near the centre of town.”

Mainstream media 101

In order to shape concensus reality, first you need to frame the event. Here the story begins by laying soft blame on the Syrian government…

“Syria‘s fragile peace process is in shreds after what was claimed to be a regime-backed massacre…”

… and then proceeding to carefully cover themselves, so to speak, but retracting the allegations deeper into the article:

“Major General Robert Mood, head of the UN team in Syria, deplored the attack, which began at midday on Friday, as “indiscriminate and unforgivable” but did not say who had been to blame.”

Notice how the article itself states clearly that the persons responsible for the massacre is yet to be known, but The Observer has already framed the conclusion within the headline and in the beginning of the story, in order to fit a pre-determined conclusion. This conclusion happens to be directly in line with Washington and London’s foreign policy objective of regime change in Syria.

Take notes. Because this is how it’s done, time and time again – another clear example how large media outlets can effectively drive reality in the direction of their choosing, and this is why so many millions of public media consumers are left misinformed and dis informed, eventually leading to a marginal public endorsement of Washington, London and Tel Aviv’s interventionist foreign policy objectives. 

Hours after this fake story was circulated in the GMT timezone, it made its way to EST, as theNew York Times picks up the ball and runs it down the field. Here the story is further refined to streamline it with regime change policy objectives, codifying reality within North American sector, claiming that:

“More than 90 people, including at least 32 children under the age of 10, were killed in a central Syrian village, top United Nations officials said Saturday, accusing the government of perpetrating the “indiscriminate” shelling of civilian neighborhoods.”  

No real details are actually given to support this media-generated verdict, only that, “A United Nations statement said the observers confirmed that “artillery and tank shells were fired at a residential neighborhood.”

Shortly thereafter, the UN’s Ban Ki Moon and Save the Children charity weigh in with carefully-craft statements, but statements that are obviously framed and directed towards Syria’s Assad government, and not Gulf States, Washington and London-backed terrorist gangs currently operating under an all but official western mandate within Syria and from their NATO-sanctioned base over the border in southern Turkey. Reality is further shaped by the London Guardian’s Observer and others, with an official “international outcry”:

“The international community was united in its condemnation. UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon said the killings were a “flagrant violation of international law” while the White House called the violence acts of “unspeakable and inhuman brutality.” Arab League head Nabil Elaraby said the killings were a “horrific crime” and urged UN action.

Save the Children’s chief executive, Justin Forsyth, echoed calls for intervention. He said: “This indiscriminate killing must stop now. The world cannot sit back and allow this to happen. Children are suffering terribly in this conflict.”

Even the BBC have gone so far as to run 9 year old photographs from Iraq, and sell them as from this latest massacre of children in Syria. Any other foreign media outlet in the UK would have its broadcasting license pulled for such a propaganda stunt. In the face of such damning manipulation, why then would so many people still believe the mainstream media’s version of reality in country’s like Syria?

Western-backed terrorists, many of whom are al-Qaida, mostly hailing from outside of Syria, are fomenting civil war and carrying out a series of attacks on UN observers and civilians, in order to create to narrative that “Assad must go.”

But what is a more closer version of reality is this:

Western readers should be under no illusion – your government operators are sanctioning civilian killing in places like Syria, and your corporate media are being used to place the blame on the west’s political enemy in the region – and therefore influence western public support for regime change.

After over one year of intervening through their own favored terrorist guerrilla proxy fighters and running arms into Syria – arms that are admittedly for going into the hands of western-backed al-Qaida groups there, the west has not yet succeeded in toppling the Assad government and installing a new puppet regime, as they did by using NATO military force in Libya last autumn. But western project managers like Hillary Clinton and William Hague have not given up, and if their corporate media outlets are allowed to determine their version reality in Syria, they will eventually get their “humanitarian intervention”, and the country will slowly be destroyed from within. Then regime change will happen

It’s as simple as that.

Syrian people are the ones who will lose if Washington, London, Tel Aviv and the Gulf States succeed in destroying Syria.

When this is done, then they will move on to destabilize Lebanon in order to unseat and neutralize Hezbollah.

After that, the door to attack Iran will be wide open.
